Optimal Fire Protection Independent laboratory tested in a gas furnace at temperatures up to 1275 degrees fo a period of 30 minutes, interior temperatures did not exceed to 350 degrees. Palusol door seal expands up to 8 times it's original thickness when exposed to high temperatures. Massive 1" door offers a defense barrier constructed of 1/2" inner and outer steel plated filled with a fire insulating material that provides an excellent barrier against extreme heat.
